How do interest rates work on title loans?

They are high interest rate loans. We charge 7.5% monthly on loans over $5,000 and 8% monthly on loans below that number.  

How long do I have to pay off the loan?

We structure the loans to be paid back over 2 typically up to 3 years.  

I only need the loan for a month or so. Does that change anything?

Not at all. Since the interest is calculated monthly, you can have the loan out for up to 2-3 years depending on the amount of the loan.

How easy is it to get a title loan?

Does my car need to be paid off?

Yes and No. We prefer clear car titles but we will pay off some old lenders to free up the vehicle for this loan.

My car is registered in another state. Can I still do this?

No. You must get the car registered in California. Not just in Oakland, but anywhere in CA.

I am behind on my bills. My mortgage is behind and more. Does this hurt me?
